PROTECT YOUR

TRAFFICABLE AREAS

AMTRAK STATION DECK

The main challenge on this project was how to most effectively waterproof and protect the concrete on the boarding platform which was experiencing weathering, cracking and leaking issues.  PennDOT – who owns and manages the facility was interested in finding a long-term protection solution that would substantially extend the useable life of the structure.

MOBY ARENA

Colorado State University's 1966 whale-shaped basketball arena required urgent repairs and waterproofing of its cracking plaza deck due to harsh Ft. Collins winters and chemical treatments. Traditional temporary sealers and coatings were deemed inadequate for the desired long-term protection. The university opted for the TechCrete 2500 Waterproofing System with EMSS technology, providing a subsurface gel for lasting durability. This environmentally friendly and economically viable solution offered the necessary combination of benefits for the critical campus project.

ALBERTO BRAGLIA

Built in 1936, this stadium is the home of FC Modena professional soccer team.  In 2010, the stadium was scheduled for some repairs and a facelift.  Part of the project included finding a way to effectively protect the 74-year old concrete seating areas that completely surround the playing field – in order to extend the lifespan of the facility.
