ACRtec Emulsifying Cleaner

ACRtec Emulsifying Cleaner is designed to be used when oil and grease are present in the surface of the concrete. Oil, grease and similar hydrocarbon products will stop the proper penetration of the waterproofing agents into the surface of the concrete. ACRtec Emulsifying Cleaner works by converting oil, grease, fats, and animal by-products into a soapy solution which floats up and out of a surface during the rinsing process. It effectively removes wax off of tile or inlaid floors and cleans tools and equipment. This emulsifying process permeates into voids, cracks, or concrete surfaces converting the oily matter into a soapy solution permitting easy removal.

Application

If heavy deposits of dirt, grease, oil, fat, or wax are present on the concrete, then application of ACRtec Emulsifying Cleaner is required. For extremely heavily soiled surfaces use ACRtec Emulsifying Cleaner undiluted directly on the surface. Apply the product using a pump-style sprayer. Apply a liberal coat of product to ensure complete coverage. Using a scrubbing-type brush, scrub the surface of the concrete to loosen and suspend the dirt and oils. As a supplement to the scrubbing brush, a pressure washer may be used. Once the entire surface has been scrubbed and dirt and oils are suspended, removed then begin rinsing with clean water. After rinsing the surface, visually inspect. If heavy deposits of dirt and oil are still remaining, repeat the application of ACRtec Emulsifying Cleaner.

ACRtec Emulsifying Cleaner

Designed to Work with ETT-Based Systems

With a single application, ETT remains within the concrete matrix — delivering protection from within for the life of the concrete.

ETT penetrates into cured concrete and, when activated with water, develops an insoluble gel within the concrete itself—forming a subsurface membrane that helps protect against water and chemical intrusion for the long term.

Works Within The Concrete

Unlike surface-applied coatings, ETT becomes part of the concrete, helping protect from within.
