Let’s Talk How to Waterproof Concrete Structures Faster and More Effectively
ETT: Protection
that works from inside the concrete.
ETT — Enzymatic TechCrete Technology — is the internal gel-forming
process that transforms how concrete is protected from water.
Unlike traditional systems that create surface barriers, ETT works from the inside out. Applied as a spray directly onto the surface, the technology penetrates the concrete and forms an internal gel barrier that blocks water infiltration without creating an external membrane.
Because it does not rely on perfect surface conditions or long curing times, ETT dramatically improves application efficiency. A single applicator can treat an area up to eight times faster than conventional systems — a critical advantage for large slabs, tunnels, and projects where time directly impacts cost.
Protection that works inside the concrete
Concrete does not fail at the surface.
Water moves internally through pores, capillaries, and microcracks.
ETT addresses the problem where it actually happens.
ETT is a proprietary technology designed to protect concrete from the inside out.
Instead of forming a surface layer, ETT penetrates the concrete matrix and reacts internally, creating a permanent internal barrier that blocks water movement through the structure.
Once this internal reaction takes place, it becomes part of the concrete itself.
It does not wear away, peel, or lose effectiveness over time.
This long-lasting performance is the result of how the technology behaves inside the concrete, remaining active within the matrix and responding to moisture over the life of the structure.
This is why ETT is applied once and remains effective for the life of the concrete.

Who Is Alchemco?
Alchemco is a global leader in concrete protection, delivering advanced waterproofing solutions using its exclusive ETT (Enzymatic TechCrete Technology). With more than 45 years of proven performance, the company protects infrastructure and buildings in over 75 countries across every continent.
Its flagship innovation, the TechCrete System, has received multiple Most Innovative Product awards at the World of Concrete Convention (USA) and continues to set new standards for next-generation waterproofing.
Alchemco is recognized for extending the service life of concrete structures, reducing maintenance and costly rework, and supporting engineers and contractors with the knowledge and training needed to implement long-term protection strategies.
Alchemco ETT Protection Systems
Alchemco’s ETT-based solutions are enzyme-modified waterproofing systems designed to protect concrete from within. Products such as TechCrete 2500 react with the calcium inside the concrete to form a flexible, vapor-permeable gel that blocks water and contaminants below the surface.
This internal protection extends the service life of structures for decades by sealing cracks and pores without the need for surface membranes. The system remains permanently bonded to the concrete, eliminating risks of delamination, blistering, or mechanical damage.
ETT-based products are safe for potable water applications (NSF 61), contain 0.0% VOCs, and support environmentally responsible construction practices.
Designed for efficiency in the field, most projects can be completed in less than 48 hours with minimal operational disruption, allowing structures to return to service quickly.
For maximum performance, ETT technologies are applied as part of the integrated Alchemco WaterTite system, which includes ACR surface and crack accelerators, Duratite mortars and sealers, and specialized accessories for joint treatment and surface preparation.
All components are tested and optimized to ensure full chemical compatibility, long-term durability, and proven performance. ETT systems meet ASTM and AASHTO standards, provide high resistance to chloride ion intrusion and water penetration, achieve Class A fire resistance, and can be applied with anti-slip finishes when required.
CretePRO ULTRA
Alchemco CretePRO ULTRA is an enzyme-modified subsurface waterproofing system for horizontal and vertical concrete applications. It penetrates deep into the substrate, forming an internal barrier that seals pores, capillaries, and cracks. The self-healing system protects structures from water intrusion and damage, sealing existing cracks up to 2.0 mm and future cracks up to 0.5 mm.
KEY BENEFITS
• Fast and simple to apply
• 100% trafficable once dry, with minimal risk
of damage during construction or thereafter
• Seals existing cracks up to 2.0 mm
• Seals future cracks up to 0.5 mm
TechCrete 2500
Alchemco TechCrete 2500 Watertite System is an enzyme-modified subsurface waterproofing solution for concrete and masonry. It penetrates deep into the substrate, reacting with calcium to form a flexible, vapor-permeable gel that fills pores and cracks. This internal barrier protects against water and contaminants while sealing existing cracks up to 2.0 mm and future cracks up to 1.5 mm.
KEY BENEFITS
• Trafficable once dry
• Seals existing cracks up to 2.0 mm
• Seals future cracks up to 1.5 mm
• Non-hazardous and NSF / ANSI 61 Certified
• Does not change aesthetic appearance
• Long-term performance without reapplication
• No Maintenance Required for Most Applications

Case studies
GA D.O.T Bridge
New extension of Georgia Hwy 92, approximately 10,000 sqft, was used as a test bridge over Lick Log Creek. This creek is a tributary to the Chattooga River in Georgia and is a vital asset to the protected crayfish. BridgeDECK’s ecofriendly certified system was the perfect match to ensure preservation of the bridge and safety of the local conservation requirements.
